For a lover of vegetables, the meal was just an explosion of so many flavors. All of the platters were so beautifully plated. November 22, 2018 – Dear Jesse, Our entire family LOVED the fantastic dinner you prepared for us – and Jeremy, Mark and Heather couldn’t have been more accommodating or helpful. One of our sons remarked ( I had cooked Thanksgiving dinner for the family for over 30 years in New Hampshire) that it was “absolutely the BEST Thanksgiving dinner we have ever had”. And, I agree. The turkey was perfect, the potatoes were better than mine and the addition of the brussels sprouts was brilliant and much enjoyed. The cranberry sauce and bread were both amazingly delicious. And, the pies were fabulous. We are still finishing up a few of the leftovers but the pies disappeared extremely fast. Please put us on your calendar for next Thanksgiving if you can. It was just great to enjoy your cuisine without any stress and Bob and I are most grateful to you and your terrific team. Please pass along our thanks to them. Every detail was done with thought, care and such creativity — resulting in an event that everyone will long remember. I thought I had a sense of what goes in to a dinner like this, but I had no idea !! To achieve the “layered” and complex flavoring takes so much work, skill and ingenuity — just fascinating to see and so interesting to better understand.
I really appreciate the time/preparation you took to develop the plan for the cooking class and you really hit all the buttons (and more) that I was hoping for — fresh, summer, ease, healthy and so many helpful entertaining how-to’s. There was so much in the curriculum, but you did an amazing job showing, explaining, demonstrating and sharing your knowledge. The gals, as I’m sure you saw and heard, were absolutely thrilled and so honored to be “behind the scenes” in Jesse’s kitchen !!
A huge shout out to your team — Jeremy, Megan & all the others who were so terrific with having us there and in delivering a first class dining & service experience.
The meal was just extraordinary. Jim and I were trying to name our favorite part, but we couldn’t !! It might have been the infusion of smoked blueberry with the Duck Confit…or was it the yummy congi with hints of coconut? Jim LOVED the veal tenderloin with foie gras demi-glace & fresh pappardelle and I could not believe how incredible the Asparagus soup was !!
